Sarah Myerscough Gallery
Sarah Myerscough Gallery was established in 1999 in Mayfair as an exhibition space for both emerging and established, principally British, artists who explored formal processes within their medium and showed exceptional technical ability in contemporary art. The gallery continues to show and promote fine artists, with the core group of these now exhibiting in international museum shows. Alongside this programme, it has developed a strong interest in craft and design. It is now working with internationally-renowned designers who are placed in major museum collections and exhibitions. The gallery has promoted its designers on an international level at fairs in London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Dubai and this winter in Seoul.
Today, the gallery reiterates its original commitment to encourage innovation and aesthetic vitality, as well as distinguished technical skill and quality of practice. Through this commitment, the ethos is now centered on breaking down the barriers between fine art, crafts, design and architecture.
By amalgamating the different elements of its development, the gallery seeks to create a dialogue between different disciplines to explore the unrestricted possibilities within the visual arts.
