Galleria O. Roma
Galleria O. Roma, founded in Rome in 2009 by Roberto Giustini, Rossella Peruzzi and Stefano Stagetti, works with Italian design of the twentieth century as well as international contemporary design. The gallery focuses on historical design from 1930 to 1970, primarily concentrating on the work of Gio Ponti, Fontana Arte and Ettore Sottsass.
For its contemporary design projects, the gallery invites international designers to re-think Italian artistic and handcraft traditions to develop limited-edition works commissioned and produced exclusively.
Galleria O. Roma regularly collaborates with museums and public institutions to support and promote its artists.
For Design Miami/ Basel 2015 the gallery has selected exceptional pieces coming from two major Roman private houses including works designed by Gio Ponti, Max Ingrand, Angelo Lelli, Ico Parisi and Gabriella Crespi.
In regards to contemporary design, a selection of works by Campana Brothers, from their iconic Brazilian Baroque Collection edited exclusively by Galleria O. Roma since 2011, is displayed along with a Gabriella Crespi coffee table edited in 2013 and limited-edition pieces specifically designed for this occasion by Italian designers Andrea Anastasio and Iosselliani.
